Babylon Parfum began with a simple belief: a fragrance should do more than smell good in the first few minutes. It should feel right on you, stay with you, and become something you genuinely want to wear.

Founded by two friends from Mumbai, Babylon brings together two very different worlds. One founder has spent over thirteen years in the fragrance industry, understanding sourcing, composition, performance and what people actually enjoy wearing. The other comes from design, where detail, proportion, material and experience shape every decision.

For nearly a year, we explored and tested hundreds of fragrances from India and around the world. Most were rejected. The question was always simple: would we choose to wear this ourselves? Only four made the cut: Poise, Beauty, Excess and Power.

But our opinion was never enough. Each fragrance has been tested by real people, in real Indian conditions, through heat, humidity, monsoon and long days. We listened closely to what lasted, what felt right on skin and, most importantly, what people wanted to wear again.

Babylon is independently built and entirely bootstrapped. There is no manufactured heritage, no exaggerated mythology and no artificial idea of luxury. We would rather put the value into the fragrance itself.

The result is a collection designed to smell exceptional, perform beautifully and feel worth reaching for every single day.
